 Today 16th April, 2025, the Assistant Inspector-General of police, in charge of Zone 10 Headquarters, Sokoto, AIG Gyogon Augustine Grimah psc,FCAI in company of the Commissioner of Police Sokoto state Command CP Ahmed Musa psc, along with his management team visited Rev. Dr. Matthew Hassan Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of the Sokoto Diocese.


The AIG in his adress stated that he is at the Residence of the bishop to formally introduce himself as the new AIG posted to Zone 10 Police Headquarters, Sokoto and to solicit for the most Reverend's blessings, continuous support and collaboration to promote peace and unity among the diverse culture and religions within the Zone.

Most Rev. Dr Matthew Hassan Kukah, in his remarks, appreciated the AIG and his entourage for the visit. He expressed his belief in the ability of the AIG following his track records. He prayed for God's blessings,  protection and favour upon the AIG in his service delivery.
