Pharm. Elizabeth Idahosa Leads Landmark Medical Outreach, Serving 1,257
Residents in Underserved Lagos Community

LAGOS, NIGERIA – 18th October 2025 – In a landmark demonstration of leadership and public
health innovation, Pharm. Elizabeth Idahosa, MPH, Founder of the Faithful Witness Initiative
Charity Organization (FWICO), conceived and executed a massive-scale medical outreach that
provided critical healthcare services to 1,257 residents of the Obawole community in Lagos
State.
This large-scale initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Redeemed Christian Church of
God (RCCG) New Dawn Parish and supported by a coalition of leading healthcare and
technology organizations, directly addressed a critical healthcare access gap. The success of the
outreach was powered by strategic partnerships with Swiss Pharma Nigeria Ltd, May & Baker
Nigeria Plc, Constanstar Pharmacy Ltd, Ranbaxy Nigeria Ltd, Pharma Ethics Ltd, Emzor
Pharmaceuticals Ltd, TechPower Africa, and the TechPower Aid Foundation.
Under Idahosa’s strategic direction, a dedicated multi-disciplinary team was mobilized to deliver
comprehensive primary care. The team of medical professionals included: Dr. Peter Adakole
(FWICO Trustee), Dr. Diemuku Aghogho, Nurse Joy Francis, Nurse Harisson Ude, Mr. Ker-
Shember Godfrey (MLT), Miss Anjola Jacob, Mr. Dami Jacob, Miss Christiana Anon
Together, they performed vital screenings for blood pressure, blood glucose, HIV, malaria, and
hepatitis B on an unprecedented scale for a community-led intervention.
“No serious athlete improves without regularly evaluating their performance. The same principle
applies to our health,” stated Pharm. Idahosa. “Serving over 1,200 individuals in a single day
demonstrates a profound community need and our organizational capacity to meet it. This was
made possible by the incredible support of our partners and volunteers. We are empowering a
populace with the knowledge and services to take proactive control of their wellbeing.”
The outreach yielded significant, measurable outcomes, a testament to its masterful planning
and execution:
• Over 1,000 residents received immediate, on-site treatment for conditions identified during
screening.
• A vast majority of attendees reported a marked improvement in their understanding of
preventive care, as confirmed by post-outreach surveys.
• Dozens of complex cases were efficiently triaged and referred to nearby hospitals for advanced
care.
Pharm. Idahosa’s leadership extended beyond direct service to include a robust health
education program and rigorous post-operational analysis. Her team produced a strategic
framework with key recommendations, including forging partnerships with local institutions and
establishing quarterly outreach cycles, to ensure the sustainability and expansion of this
impactful model.
This event underscores Pharm. Elizabeth Idahosa’s exceptional expertise and recognized
contributions to public health. Through FWICO and its partners, she is not only delivering vital
health services but has also architected a scalable, replicable model for community health that
promotes holistic wellness.
